Production

Goyenchea Malbec comes from the Mendoza region in Argentina, famed for its Malbec cultivation. The Goyenechea family have been making wine in Argentina for over 100 years, when the first generation of the Goyenechea family arrived as immigrants in Argentina and settled in San Rafael, Mendoza. The grapes come from the vines of their “La Vasconia” Estate of Villa Atuel. The oldest vines date back to 1908. The wine is un-oaked in order to reflect the true varietal character of this unique terroir.

Tasting Notes

Plum red in colour with a delicate nose, Goyenechea Malbec has a full-bodied taste of berries. A delicate nose with dry fruits, walnuts and light spices. On the palate, soft and fruity with little tannin and a blackberry flavour.
